About Us

Grayson Cattle Company is owned and operated by Jarrod and Krista Grayson. Located in beautiful fescue country near Newburg, MO, GCC started in 2015 on a smaller farm near Bourbon, MO. Today, the operation consists of a 144-acre farm with 40+ registered Hereford cows. The operation is centered around registered Hereford seedstock with an emphasis on replacement females. Taking great pride in the health and quality of their herd is a must. The cattle are bred for quality genetics and cared for with a comprehensive health program. Our Focus

  • Our main focus is producing solid replacement females with a specific concentration on fertility, longevity, and teat and udder quality.

  • With our cows being maternally based, we inject proven bulls with superior terminal values through AI to compliment the maternal strength in our cowherd.

  • Our cattle must survive on grass with little to no supplementation. Our fescue pastures allow us to incorporate a management-intensive grazing system where cattle are rotated frequently on new pasture ground.
